Upon learning of the sudden death of her father, Sara renounces her bright future as a prominent jazz pianist and returns to Spain to rediscover her family’s bucolic identity. Eventually she decides to uphold this legacy, turning what was once her bustling, jazzified lifestyle into a pastoral medley. Ultimately, persisting through the trials and tribulations of single-handedly maintaining her late father’s sheep farm. These are the cornerstone elements that make up this picture: jazz music, the austere mountainous environment, family and legacy—all are channelled within this touching “return to your roots” story.
