After the untimely, unfortunate, and accidental death of one of their friends, the seasoned and inseparable group of schoolmates decide to bring in an old acquaintance to their monthly friendly basketball game at the local courts in the peripheral Greek-Russian neighbourhood of Athens—Ellinoroson. Yet their unresolved grievances and past arguments will get in the way of an otherwise good time.

This low-budget flick is based on an original contemporary theatre piece of the same name which is co-written and created by Antonis Tsiotsiopoulos. The play garnered wide popular acclaim, evoking the narrative plights of the ancient Greek tradition with a contemporary twist. The direction will be entrusted to Giorgos Telzidis. The film is an international coproduction between Greece’s View Master Films and Sajama Films.
